Ana Informed me that I should make it along with Sastha....
I began to think about all possible ideas to made a huge paper with banana on a cardboard - and stick all fruits on it .... Make a collection of not fruits .... but everything related to fruits .....But thought to myself that being radical and sending stuff to school... will people appreciate the creativity and the thought process.... So limited myself and told that let Ana guide and me follow.....
Ana purchased some Charts, Some standard fruits etc., I was not for it atall... I was thinking let me cut some fruit shapes in Colour paper stick on some thing different like handmade paper and send it ......
Creativity is critical thinking... and also thinking different....than the conventional way......
If they want fruits ... think about all possible ways Fruits can be represented....
Scrap book – is a book, where we collect information about a particular topic....
- Along with fruits photographs we could have
- Fruit – Trees,,, or plants informations..
- Food items from Fruits.... Orange Juice, Apple Juice, Custurd from banana, Banana Split , Ice creams etc.,
- Fruit Scented pefumes ....
- Fruit Jellys...
- Fruit – plucking machines...
- Fruit – seeds ...
Then next action comes, where we can stick put all these information in a book... How to be creative in a book ... it could be a standard book, a neat chart paper, tied or pinned together .... or think of an existing book, make a background for the image and stick on top of it .....something new .... and ecofriendly.... you are wasting paper resource.... making something from already that is waste..... So a story starts getting associated with that.......So a new learning experience....
Ana was not too much for that .....Dont look at others appreciating - look at enjoying the process.....Me and Sastha cut the papers , cardboards... we picked from the toys etc., ... collected it together ... Ana started commenting that it could be done like this and that... So asked her to continue and left.....
Sastha came twice and he was so happy that he has made something and it contains information for him. That joy is what is required.....
Today Ana after school called.... and told that the Acharya told why use magazine for scrap book ... and Ana's friends laughed at it .... Ana was feeling so bad... she shouted at me for making such a scrap book and told that you do some thing and I will have to face the consequences.... you have to feel how it is when you are in the front end ......tried explaining to her but she did not understand......
Wrote an SMS ...
" No one would have done as what Sastha has done.... Everyone would have done the conventional way.. When you are creative, others will not understand... its easy to comment and laugh.. but difficult to think different and be bold an say yes this is what my interpretation... it will take time to understand,, or others would not understand atall...patience required... believe me.... Its not easy to lead a creative life....you have felt it today.... I am feeling it daily ...my profession ... be proud...."
Ana calls me and says that she understands ... good for me... but in school they have returned sastha's scrap book and asked them to redo it ...... Funny ...GOOD....
Sastha tell to yourself ..... that what ever you do ... do what you wanted to do ... Dont do anything for others sake..... Enjoy your life da .... feel it ... Its the ultimate experience .......
